Education: Masters in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA. Bachelors Hons. in Public Administration, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).

Area of Research: Strategic Studies – Indo-Pacific/Wider Asia (Defense, Security, and Strategic Stability, Great Power Diplomacy, Conflict Resolution, Regional Responses to Evolving Alliances).

Mr. Hannan Hussain currently serves as an Assistant Research Associate at the Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI), where his research focuses on strategic security issues in the Asia/Indo-Pacific. Hussain is an alumnus of the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR), and was a recipient of the U.S. Department of State’s Fulbright Scholarship Award (2020-2022).
