Ms Amna Ejaz Rafi is an Assistant Research Officer (ARO) at Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI). She holds a Masters in Defence and Diplomatic Studies (DDS) from Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Her dissertation was on ‘India’s Quest for Security Council Membership: Ramifications for South Asia’. As a student, Ms Rafi participated in ‘1st International Conference on Volunteerism and Millennium Development Goals, jointly conducted by National Commission for Human Development-NCHD and UN. She also attended the Global Classroom project on intercultural communication between Fatima Jinnah Women University and University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Ms Rafi’s area of interest is ‘Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia’. She has participated in the prestigious National Media Workshop-6 organised by the National Defence University in Pakistan; and the 10th Gansu International Fellowship Programme sponsored by Gansu Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, China.
