Khurram Abbas – Research Officer


Mr. Khurram Abbas is Research Officer at Islamabad Policy Research Institute. He holds MPhil degree in International Relations from National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad. He is doing his PhD in Peace and Conflict Studies (PCS) from Centre for International Peace and Stability (CIPS), NUST, Islamabad and his thesis is “Tactics of Regime Change Through Nonviolent Means: A Case Study of Pakistan”. His area of interest includes, Tactics of Regime Change through nonviolent means, Foreign Policy of Iran, civil resistance, and perception management. Mr. Abbas regularly participates in National and International Conferences. He has three book chapters and six research articles in his credit. Mr. Abbas undertakes extensive research and regularly contributes in academic research journals and national/international dailies.
