Education: Master’s in International Relations from University of Karachi; B.A (Honors) in International Relations, Economics and History from University of Karachi; and schooling from St. Patricks’ High School, Karachi. 

Professional Experience: More than 28 years of experience in Print and Electronic media; and a prolific writer having worked with several media houses in Pakistan and the UAE. He has been an extempore speaker on foreign policy, media and Pakistan affairs; with expertise on US-Iran and Middle East relations. His work has been widely published in Pakistan and abroad.

He was invited by the US State Department on its prestigious I.V Leadership Program on ‘Print Journalism’ in 2003. A recipient of several Fellowships and Awards; and lectured at various alma maters and research centers throughout the world.
