ISLAMABAD: Mr Waqas Jan, a senior analyst at the G5 Internet Observatory, addresses a brain-storming session titled, “Indian Disinformation and Implications,” at the Islamabad Policy Research Institute in Islamabad. The session was participated by students from The Institute of Legal Studies (TILS), a premier law school of Islamabad.
Waqas talked about exploring discursive approaches to fake news and disinformation with a specific focus on India’s way of maneuvering public opinion. Former Ambassador to UAE and Iran, Ambassador Asif Durrani is seen in the audience.
